About

Hi! I'm Thu. I'm an English teacher, and before that I was an English major, and before that I was a major book nerd. I've been reading since I was two years old, and now, over thirty years later, my love for words and stories has only grown stronger.

This blog is an offshoot of my personal blog - I've found myself writing more and more about books and book-related topics, and now that I'm an active member of Goodreads and Netgalley*, I finally decided to get a separate space to publish my reviews. Yes, I do read mainly YAF and a smattering of romance novels, but I also have a deep love for the classics and "highbrow" stuff too. No matter what book I'm reading, I always keep an eye out for diversity and quality representation of different races, genders, sexualities, etc., because that is important to me. I like to think that I strike a pretty good balance between serious critique and fun fangirling.

The title of this blog is a reference to grammar (because, Englishy) and to my lifelong love for reading.

Any inquiries or concerns should be directed to editionsofthu(at)gmail(dot)come. Kindness and patience go a long way, by the way.

*Disclosure: I am often provided with advance review copies, but I am not compensated for these posts, and all reviews are honestly and sincerely my own.
