Thoughts at a glance: *** (I liked it)

Summary: Hayden is the son of a senator, looking to break free from the impending burdens of a political career he doesn't want to have. Saylor is a quirky, geeky animal-lover trying to escape her own troubles having to do with her parentage.

They hook up at their friends' wedding, and it's magical. At least, for Saylor it is. Hayden doesn't seem to remember a thing - not the night they spent together, and not the fact that they actually decided on a whim to get married.

But he does remember how drawn he is to her, and he just can't seem to stay away. And as their worlds collide (even more), Saylor isn't so sure that she wants him to.

Thoughts: It took me a couple starts to finally get into this book - I didn't love the first couple of chapters (didn't hate them either!), but once I got into it more (and especially once I "got" how to read Saylor), it definitely got more interesting.

I kinda feel like their relationship was a little too easy - I was expecting more drama to come out of their forgotten night, but they were already pretty much dating/half in love anyway, and it ended up solving a specific plot complication, so I was like, "Oh. Okay then."

I did really like their chemistry, and I loved that Saylor is a SFF nerd who says awkward things and really loves her cat - she reminds me of a lot of women I know :)
